Nvidia has announced that it is working closely with Activision and Bungie to bring the Destiny franchise to PC for the first time. Last month we saw the first fruits of their labour with the 4K screenshots of Destiny 2 being published online. Then yesterday Nvidia published a video of Destiny 2 running at 4K 60fps in a 'gameplay first look'. You can see that video directly below.

To celebrate the coming of Destiny 2 to PCs Nvidia and its hardware partners have kicked off a new game giveaway promo. From now until 27th June anyone who purchases a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card, system or laptop - at participating retailers - will get a copy of Destiny 2 at PC launch. Not only that, you will get early access to the Destiny 2 beta ahead of the game release. Make sure you check out the promo redemption instructions (requires GeForce Experience and Blizzard account) and T&Cs before you splash the considerable amount of cash, to make sure you qualify for this excellent bonus.

In related news EVGA has written to HEXUS to confirm that its GTX 1080/Ti products qualify for the Destiny 2 promotion. It provides a full list of qualifying SKUs. Also you can buy your qualifying new GTX graphics card direct from EVGA.com if you wish.

Destiny 2 launches on consoles on 6th September. It is due for release on PC on 26th October but the beta should be made available for select PC gamers from late August.

Its being released by Blizzard-Activision on BattleNet…….I would be surprised to see GameWorks in play.
The best 4K graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super

Your best option for PC gaming at 4K resolution on a standard 60Hz display is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super. Its price theoretically starts at $700, but Nvidia's own Founders Edition models have dried up.
