MMD, the leading display specialist and brand license partner for Philips monitors, announces two new additions to its Philips E Line PC gaming monitor series: the Philips 242E1GAEZ (23.8"/60.5 cm ) and the Philips 272E1GAEZ (27”/68.6 cm), following the launch of the Philips 242E1GAJ and 272E1GAJ earlier this autumn. With a height adjustable stand to maximise viewing comfort, these two models combine entertainment-focussed and ergonomic features to ensure the ideal viewing experience.

The best PC gaming experience
When gaming, no compromises are allowed, and when choosing a monitor, no gamer should settle for less. The Philips E Line gaming displays enable fluid gameplay and deliver vivid and crystal images, enabling gamers to focus on the action. The Philips 242E1GAEZ and 272E1GAEZ feature AMD FreeSync™ Premium, which guarantees variable high refresh rates, low framerate compensation and low latency in every gaming session. Thanks to their 144 Hz refresh rate and the 1 ms (MPRT) fast response time, these two models offer a quick and lag-free gameplay, enabling players to give their best in games where speed is pivotal, such as racing, action and shooter games.

Delivering life-like images
The Philips 242E1GAEZ and 272E1GAEZ monitors feature Ultra Wide-Color Technology to deliver a wider spectrum of colours, providing life-like images, with more natural-looking greens, brighter reds and deeper blues. SmartContrast, on the other hand, assures the display of subtle dark hues. Gamers can now personalise the image reproduction, thanks to the optimised SmartImage game modes, ensuring best performance.

Equipped for any task
The Philips 242E1GAEZ and 272E1GAEZ monitors feature a VA panel with Full HD (1080p) resolution for vivid images, which also offers 178/178° extra-wide viewing angles. Both displays are well equipped for any task, including browsing the internet and working with graphic applications. For users who spend many hours in front of the screen, these monitors have ergonomic features that will make the experience as pleasant as possible: with the height adjustment of 100 mm and tilt of -5/20 degree, users can adjust the display to their most comfortable viewing position with ease; moreover, both the Flicker-Free technology and LowBlue Mode help reduce eye strain.

The Philips 242E1GAEZ and Philips 272E1GAEZ monitors will be available from the end of November with an RRP of £170 and £215, respectively.
