The vagaries of how X299 motherboards apply the various turbo bins of the high-end Core i9 processors means that we see more performance variation here than for any other platform.

EVGA has a solid set of results, and we're glad to see that nothing underhand appears to be happening with respect to auto-overclocking all cores.
