It is inevitable that increasing the memory frequency results in much better performance in the pure memory-related benchmarks. We expect to see 40,000MB/s bandwidth on a well-tuned DDR4-3,000 set sat on top of a Z270 platform. The Corsair Vengeance RGB does just that.
