London, 1st May 2009 - Acer, the third largest vendor in the global PC market (source: Gartner data, FY 2008), today announced the appointment of JDI Technology as a new Distributor in the UK for its Server and storage products.
Servers form a key part of the SMB proposition and Acer see them as a fundamental part of its professional offering. In order to continue to grow the server business in the UK and to offer the channel resellers real choice and an opportunity to make margin, Acer took the decision to expand the Distribution network for Acer Servers.
