Leading dealer group Synaxon and top distributor Entatech have teamed up to hold a special reseller event ahead of the launch of Windows 7. Over 100 resellers are expected to attend the one-day seminar, workshop and exhibition at Weston Park in Staffordshire on Tuesday 6th October. NVIDIA is also supporting the event for which video, graphics and visual computing will be one of its key themes.
Jon Atherton, Commercial Vice President of Entatech, says that the aim is to get resellers excited, enthusiastic and ready to take the Windows 7 message to their customers. "This is the biggest launch of the year and with the busiest time of the year approaching and signs of an upturn in the economy it couldn't be coming at a better time. It will give retailers and resellers a chance to get up to speed on the how to sell Windows 7 and the latest and greatest NVIDIA video and graphics cards yet. This is going to be a very important quarter in both the gaming and business markets and we want to help our customers make the most of it"
This is exactly why Synaxon is supporting the event, says Gary Sargent, Operations Manager of the dealer group. "Helping dealers to drive business is the reason that Synaxon exists and the launch of Windows 7 is a massive opportunity for the whole channel. We're about to distribution more than 60,000 copies of our latest iTrends mailer, which is crammed with exclusive offers and promotions that will help our members make the most of that opportunity."
Synaxon is hoping to use the Weston Park occasion both to network with existing members and bring new recruits into the fold, says Sargent. "We know that many of our members have already registered for the event and it will also be an opportunity for other resellers to find out what Synaxon is all about and how they can benefit from becoming members."
As well as the regular iTrends end user mailer, resellers have access to the EGIS on-line system, which provides them with access to more than 250,000 products through 23 UK distribution partners and through unique features such as EGIS Mobile and the Google Price Checker, enables them to compare and contrast prices from different suppliers, and see what the competition are charging.
Members can also take advantage of the EGIS WebStore and Data Pack services to build out their own ‘off the shelf' customer facing ecommerce solution and integrate C-Net product data into their back office systems.
