Press release

Since the acquisition of CCD at the end of 2009, Ingram Micro has continued to develop and extend its capabilities within the Value Business division based at Maidenhead, as it extends into the HP ESSN business. The integration period has been both smooth and successful and the CCD team is now fully integrated, with the ex-CCD management team retained to ensure continuity of service delivery. ‘We are pleased to see that both customer and staff retention rates have been incredibly high' says Ingram Micro's MD, Matt Sanderson.

From April 1st, HP Networking has been added to the HP ESS portfolio, and this blends well with the capabilities already in-house. ‘HP has a very strong focus on their Converged Infrastructure message at the moment' said Director, Jon Bunyard ‘and Ingram Micro are best placed to deliver that message to the channel, being HP's only fully accredited converged infrastructure partner and the only wholesaler capable of selling and supporting HP's entire ESSN portfolio, covering ISS, SWD, BCS and PNB'.

March saw the launch of HP's Top Value range into the broadline business at Wymbush, where the focus is growing and supporting the SMB space. So far, results have been very positive and the expansion into the broadline business has provided many new customers for the value business division in Q1. Ingram's route to market is via three field based sales leads and a dedicated business development manager.

HP ESSN products are available now from Ingram Micro online at www.ingrammicro.co.uk or by calling the sales team on 0871-973-3612.
