O2 UK today announces three new partners have been accepted into its Accelerator Programme, a scheme that allows O2 to provide mobile business solutions to customers by selecting Best of Breed partners and solutions. The new partners are Intuition, London Web Limited and Zenprise.

Intuition Mobile Learning is a cutting-edge platform for enterprises to deliver learning to their increasingly mobile workforce. Many global enterprises have deployed this award-winning platform to extend their learning and knowledge reach beyond the desktop. Designed to open standards, the platform enables full progress tracking and reporting on all content. This fully integrated and secure platform is designed to enable quick and easy delivery of information, courses, surveys, assessments, podcasts, and video content to smartphone devices. Content is available offline for maximum accessibility and the platform supports BlackBerry®, iPhone, and Windows Mobile smartphone devices. Under the terms of the partnership, O2 will offer Intuition's mobile learning platform to its fixed and mobile customers across Europe.

London Web's mobility solutions include NotifySync and NotifyLink. NotifySync allows BlackBerry devices to securely sync to any email platform supporting ActiveSync protocols. In addition, the NotifySync application supports remote wipe, in case the device is lost or stolen. NotifyLink Enterprise Server provides Device Management, secure, real-time synchronised email and pim data, from an array of corporate email platforms, to and from a variety of mobile devices including the iPhone, Symbian, Palm, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices. London Web has a proven track record in providing these solutions and support to customers, including the NHS.

Zenprise MobileManager is an automated mobile management solution for enterprise customers with established smartphone deployments. It includes monitoring BlackBerry devices, service plans, BES and client access licenses, and monitoring and management software. The partnership enables O2 to offer a complete, differentiated solution to manage the entire smartphone lifecycle, quickly resolving mobile device issues and ensuring continuity of service.

The Accelerator Programme, launched in 2004, selects companies based upon thorough financial, technological, marketing, and customer assessments. Once accepted into the scheme, O2 provides partners with extensive sales, marketing and technical support, along with access to thousands of enterprise customers as a low cost route to market.

"Applications are one of the main reasons our customers use our network and services and we want to offer them the best available on the market", said Ilona McMullan, O2's Business Applications Manager. "From email to complex business processes, partners accepted into the programme provide our customers with business critical solutions allowing them to save time, money and resource. Partners like Intuition, London Web Limited and Zenprise have solutions that are key in helping us meet our strategy of bringing the top mobile solutions to our customers."

There are currently 25 key application partners, each with its own unique software solution and market focus.  Partners gain access to O2's experienced sales team and benefit from marketing support to help position solutions with customers.

Keith O'Loughlin, head of Technology Services at Intuition, stated: "This partnership is an exciting new venture for Intuition. We are delighted to be associated with a telecommunications operator like O2. This provides us with an additional avenue to grow our mobile learning technology - easing access to learning resources and keeping British business skills and knowledge up-to-date."

Jamie Easterman, Managing Director of London Web, said: "We are excited to be able to provide added value to O2 and its customers with the products and professional services that we offer. NotifySync and NotifyLink have already proved invaluable in meeting the demands of many remote and mobile workers in the public and commercial sectors. As our solutions support some of the exclusive mobile platforms that O2 carries, such as iPhone and Palm Pre, we see our entry into the programme as a perfect fit."

Jayaram Bhat, CEO of Zenprise, commented: "Our entry into the UK market is strengthened by our partnership with O2. O2's depth of expertise in mobility is unmatched. Their selection of Zenprise into the Accelerator Programme is an accolade that will serve as a catalyst to our success in this region."
