TYAN S8230 motherboard supports (2) 12-core AMD Opteron™ 6100 series processors, (16) DDR-III R/U-DIMM slots, (3) GbE, and 8-port SAS 6G controller, which is targeted at various general purpose applications. The counter 1U barebone platform is GT62-B8230-LE, which supports (8) 2.5” hot-swap HDDs, (1) FH/HL PCI-E Gen. 2 slot, and optional redundant power supply. Both solutions meet most of general purpose and SMB application requirements. TYAN S8236 is a rack-optimized motherboard with (2) 12-core AMD Opteron™ 6100 Series processors,(16) DDR-III R/U-DIMM slots, (3) GbE, and 8-port SAS 6G controller support. The counter 2U barebone platform is TN70-B8236-HE, which supports (8) 3.5” hot-swap HDDs, (3) FH/FL PCI-E Gen. 2 x16 slots, and optional redundant power supply. TYAN TN70-B8236-HE system can accommodate up to (3) FH/FL GPU adapters, which is designed and tailored for prevailing GPGPU applications.
