Barebones solutions specialist Tyan has announced the launch of its KGT/KFT series Rackmount Chassis Kits. These are compatible with many of their Xeon and Opteron platforms and claim to come fully optimized and tested, thus cutting down on the need for testing at the customer end.
The kits are currently in the customer sampling phase with mass production expected to follow in February.
