ADSL2+

In a separate announcement, the ISP/telco arm of Enta - Entanet - announced it will be showing off its ADSL2+ services at telco convergence trade show Convergence Summit South on 7th October.

ADSL2+ offers double the download speed of traditional ADSL and Entanet says it's the first communications provider to launch ADSL2+ services over the national broadband aggregation service: Wholesale Broadband Connect.

Darren Farnden, Entanet's marketing manager, said: "Our early involvement in 21CN and significant investment in taking WBC is already paying dividends. While a number of our reseller partners are modifying customers' ADSL connections to ADSL2+, we're taking orders from a number of wholesale customers for EWCS. Being first-to-market with ADSL2+ on BT 21CN is proving to be a positive experience and a valuable differentiator."
