As good as a rest

Broad-line distie Ingram Micro will be losing one of the most senior members of its UK team at the end of this month.

Commercial director Bhavesh Patel (pictured) has been at Ingram since 1991. Much of that was in his current role but he performed multiple sales and commercial roles across Europe, UK and the Asia Pacific Region.

As one of the few people Ingram allows to speak to the press he is also one of the most high profile.

Patel confirmed to HEXUS.channel that he will be leaving and that the decision was his. After 17 years at the same company we think it's safe to assume he felt like a change.

A replacement has yet to be named and in the meantime Mike Farrah, who heads up the PC and peripherals categories at Ingram UK will take on Patel's role.
