Finnish handset giant Nokia has released a video demonstrating a theoretical augmented reality future, or as Nokia puts it: mixed reality.

In it, a woman is helped through her hectic day by all sorts of clever ways in which technology manifests itself in real-world settings - hence mixed reality.

She uses special glasses with a heads-up display that tracks her eye movements, 3D audio earphones and a haptic wrist device that enables her to interact with this augmented environment through hand gestures.

What the video seems to primarily demonstrate it that augmented reality means being constantly pestered by your stalker boyfriend, and it seems to exist more to draw attention to Nokia's Research Center, where you can download a paper on "Mobile Mixed Reality" published last June.
