PRESS RELEASE

A big black screen will no longer need to dominate living rooms following the launch of a new 4K UHD smart laser projector with integrated soundbar from Optoma.

Homeowners can get a stunning 120-inch 4K image from the new projector placed just inches away from the wall or screen.  This beams a massive, bright image when watching films but this can revert to a plain white wall when the projector is switched off for a clean minimalist look to their home interior style.  This all-in-onepowerful entertainment system is set to change the way people watch TV and films in their homes.

Incorporating a built-in soundbar, powered by NuForce with Dolby Digital support, and the latest smart home features including voice control, IFTTT and a 4K HDR compatible media player, the UHZ65UST creates the ultimate big-screen experience at home.

Using simple voice commands, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice control* can power the projector on and off, adjust volume, pause content and more. In addition, IFTTT support provides seamless smart home automation with smart IoT devices and easy access to popular streaming services through the Optoma Marketplace.

Unlike the hassle of mounting and transporting heavy TVs, the UHZ65UST produces an instant out-of-the-box cinematic experiences making it an optimal solution for mobility and smaller rooms and apartments.  It also features an inbuilt geometry correction system to mitigate uneven walls and ensure a hassle-free set-up.

The integrated NuForce soundbar delivers premium audio with individual woofers, as well as aluminium full-range drivers and isolated speaker enclosures for low distortion.  It also offers Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus decoding capabilities.

3,500 lumens and 8.3-million-pixel images on screen, gives viewers a vibrant, crystal clear 4K UHD image with four times the detail of a Full HD display. Packed with the latest technology and features, the stylish UHZ65UST boasts HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) compatibility for life-like colour performance, with bright whites and deeper black levels.

To improve contrast and brightness further, the UHZ65UST can be used with Optoma’s 100” ALR101 ambient light rejecting screen. The specialised screen surface is designed to actively reflect a projected image for high contrast and solid colour saturation while preventing ambient light from washing out the picture.

The all-in-one UHZ65UST smart 4K UHD laser projector is available for pre-order now at a street price of £3,299.
