PRESS RELEASE

Optoma knows that when it comes to gaming, the difference between a glorious triumph, or a miserable defeat, is a matter of milliseconds. With this in mind and building on the success of the popular HD29H, the new HD29HST is now available.

The bright 4,000 lumen home entertainment projector has the convenience of a short-throw lens, making it a breeze to take to a friend's house, place on a coffee table, and project a 100" image from just over a metre away – perfect for a sports event, movie night or games marathon.

Kishan Mistry, Product Manager at Optoma, said: "With a latency of just 8.4ms and the ability to accept a 1080p 120Hz signal, we developed this compact short-throw projector with gamers in mind.

"As well as the lightening refresh rate, the HDR imagery allows you to see far more detail and texture. Objects look more lifelike, and the extra detail creates a greater sense of depth."

Convenient and easy to setup, its two HDMI inputs can connect to a laptop, PC, Blu-ray player, media streamer or games console – and switching between them is simply a touch of a button. The HD29HST can even be turned into a smart projector by connecting an HDMI dongle like the Google Chromecast™, Amazon Fire TV or Apple TV™ to play games, stream videos and share photos on the big screen.

For added convenience, the projector comes complete with an integrated speaker that delivers powerful 10W audio. Despite the small dimensions of the projector, the level of audio created will effortlessly fill a living space. An audio output is also included, enabling connection to external sound systems.
