CREATIVE DELIVERS HIGH-IMPACT SURROUND SOUND TO GAMERS
WITH NEW INSPIRE 4.1 4400 SPEAKERS
Creative's new surround sound speakers will give gamers
and audio lovers the great-value surround sound they want
Creative (Nasdaq: CREAF), the worldwide leader in
digital entertainment products for the personal computer and the Internet, and
the first company to bring 4.1 surround speakers to the market, announces the
new Creative Inspire 4.1 4400 speakers. Available from the beginning of
September, the
Inspire 4.1 4400 speakers will be priced at £59.99 incl.
VAT.
Designed for gamers, audio enthusiasts and especially
those who demand quality, power and value, these speakers represent a new
generation in Creative's 4.1 surround sound range, bringing users a solution
that's optimised for even higher standards of gaming and audio excellence. They
handle a frequency range between 40Hz and 20kHz, deliver a total power output of
41 Watts RMS, and leverage the 4-channel surround capabilities of Sound Blaster
cards.
Engineered by the speaker specialists at Creative Labs
and Cambridge SoundWorks to pump out penetrating bass, the Creative Inspire 4.1
4400 is perfect for games that incorporate EAX and EAX Advanced HD - the audio
standards developed by Creative Labs to deliver incredible special effects and
realistic sound staging when playing. These new advanced speakers are an ideal
match for Creative Sound Blaster cards and produce a clean, detailed and
immersive 4.1 audio experience. Behind the ultra-real bass is the all-wood
subwoofer, rated at 17 Watts RMS. This low-end impact is complemented by the
four precision satellite speakers; each is rated at 6 Watts RMS.
Creative Inspire 4.1 4400 speakers share the technology
foundations of the entire Creative Inspire range with high-quality components
and materials, including wood in the subwoofer. The special design of the
satellites, with shaped face plates that maximise sound dispersion, adds
brightness and dynamic imaging to the overall sound. Magnetic shielding avoids
interference to desktop electronics or monitors. As a final feature for added
ease and control, the system comes with a wired remote control.
According to Leonardo Colucci, European brand manager
for Speakers with Creative Labs Europe, "These new speakers offer a dynamic,
focused and realistic 4.1 audio performance. For the gamer or music fan, they
bring to the market the latest research at Creative and Cambridge SoundWorks,
and offer users the sound they have always wanted.
"Developers are constantly improving the audio dimension
of their games, with shifting perspectives and sound staging," he adds. "In
these new speakers the gamer looking for a more involving experience will have a
solution that gives exceptional results."
