SURREY – 13th October 2004 – aigo, a manufacturer of digital devices, portable storage and optomagnetic products today added a further feature packed MP3 offering to their existing range of stylish, multifunctional, feature rich MP3 players that excel in ease of use, ergonomic design, sound quality and functionality. All products in the range include an FM radio and high quality record function as standard. A-B repetition for language learning is also included enabling play back of specific paragraphs or sentences, or even words.

With a sturdy aluminum alloy slim, compact sleek design the aigo P770 is designed to be a complete audio and file storage solution for users demanding the latest in MP3 technology. The USB storage facility enables users to store data or simply carry and transfer files on the move. Choose from the 256MB version retailing at only £169.99 including VAT., or opt for the 512MB version at only £199.99 inc.

Its crisp 1.8inch 65K true colour LCD provides clear viewing for navigating MP3 tracks, photographs or playing one of the built in classic games which includes Russia Block, Box Game, Bogan and Black and White chess. An E-book and photo viewer enables users to browse stored images while listening to their favourite MP3 songs.

Utilising premium quality components and a multi-grade filter management system the P770 offers crystal clear audio supporting MP3, MP3 Pro and VBR formats. The P770 also offers digital FM function and FM encoding with 20 pre-set FM stations plus FM recording capabilities enabling users to record their favourite sounds or radio shows. Sound preference is offered by way of a 5 equalizer mode normal, pop, rock, jazz and classic.

Powered is supplied by a rechargeable Lithium polymer battery, offering over 20 hours of long play from a single charge and over 15 hours of recording.

The P770 boats two recording features, a voice recording function enables users to record sound or voice directly from the built in microphone – an ideal function for meetings, tutorials or lessons and a Line-In function allowing users to record directly from other devices straight into their MP3 player. Analog to digital file conversion is automatic and files automatically become MP3 files.

The P770 comes complete with stereo earphones, wired remote control, Line-In adapter, neck strap, soft carry case, user’s manual and USB cable.
