London, UK - 20 March, 2012 - The House of Marley, with its collection of premium quality, earth-friendly headphones, today announced the launch of its portable and home audio systems in the UK.
The eagerly anticipated Bag of Rhythm portable speaker is now available at HMV and other selected retailers with a RRP of £299.99. The stylish and powerful docking station, Get Up Stand Up and portable travel speaker, Chant, will both be available in Summer 2012.
MARLEY products come with the Marley "Signature" Sound, incorporating more than 30 years of audio expertise into the design of the acoustics of their audio products. It is the goal of The House of Marley to produce audio products with smooth, powerful bass, mids with stunning presence, and an energised high-end that brings music to life. Each product undergoes custom tuning for its particular size, shape and material.
MARLEY JAMMIN' PORTABLE AUDIO SYSTEM: The Bag of Rhythm RRP £299.99
Encompassing the Marley spirit, way of thinking and music, wherever you go, The Bag of Rhythm is made from sustainably sourced FSC certified Birch wood and is cradled with a bag made from cotton. The portable unit is equipped with an iPod and iPhone docking and charging station and features twin 1" tweeters, twin 4.5" high-definition woofers and a powerful amplifier that delivers amazing output with crisp detail and deep, powerful bass to play the music loud and proud. An aux-in port connects hundreds of devices (cable included). The Bag of Rhythm uses a universal 100/240 BAC power adaptor; it is also compatible with a 12V car plug and can also be powered by D batteries for portability.
MARLEY JAMMIN' PORTABLE AUDIO SYSTEM: Chant (available Summer 2012)
The Chant, provides great sound from a super-small, earth-friendly package. Taking its form from an African percussion drum, theChant includes a twistable bamboo top piece, a recycled plastic enclosure and a canvas carry bag. The unit can be powered via USB or by 4 x AAA batteries.
