The multi-award-winning Stream Magic 6 V2 from Cambridge Audio is now updated with Spotify Connect functionality for an even better listening experience.
Developed by Cambridge Audio's research and development team in the heart of London, the Stream Magic 6 V2 delivers sensational quality digital music from multiple sources in an elegant, simple-to-use and highly affordable package.
Available as a simple firmware update to the Stream Magic 6 V2, Spotify Connect functionality allows effortless control of your Spotify music and playlists from your phone or tablet, all played through the Stream Magic 6 V2 in stunning high quality. With this update, Stream Magic 6 V2 owners in all Spotify markets can now enjoy Spotify's new home audio experience with simple hassle-free music control and instant access to Spotify's curated playlists, personalised radio, and vast catalogue of music. With the added benefit of no longer relying on ‘line of sight' connections to stream music from your phone or tablet to the Stream Magic 6 V2, Spotify Connect also allows you to continue to use your phone or tablet for calls or games away from the Stream Magic 6 V2, without the music ever stopping.
In addition to our new partnership with Spotify, the Stream Magic 6 V2 also offers music enthusiasts a wealth of ways to experience premium quality audio:
- Music stored on PCs, Macs and NAS drives can be instantly played by the Stream Magic 6 V2 thanks to its UPnP audio streaming compatibility - no complicated set-up or software required
- All major audio formats are supported including 24-bit studio master quality WAV and FLAC files
- Making the most of the world of Internet Radio, the Stream Magic 6 V2 allows access to over 20,000 internet radio stations which can be searched by name, genre or location
- Thanks to its twin Wolfson DACs and ATF audio upsampling technology, the Stream Magic 6 V2 provides the ultimate sound quality wherever the music comes from, and even features digital inputs which allow TVs, computers, Blu-ray players, digital iPod/iPad docks and any other gadgets with a digital audio connection to be connected and significantly upgraded.
The Stream Magic 6 V2 is incredibly easy to set-up and use. Wireless connectivity to home networks avoids cable clutter and allows it to be added to an existing entertainment system without hassle.
