HONG KONG – In partnership with Gibson Innovations, Onkyo of Japan today unveiled three highlights from its debut high fidelity headphone and speaker range. The X9 HRA speaker, H500M HRA on-ear headphones and E700M HRA in-ear headphones incorporate advanced audio technologies to achieve High Resolution Audio reproduction[1]. The full Onkyo speaker and headphone range will be shown for the first time at IFA Berlin on September 3.

The products unveiled today are:
X9 High Resolution Audio speaker
Four Ø50mm mid-bass drivers and two Ø19mm High Resolution Audio tweeters combine with dual opposing passive radiators to recreate sound across an extended frequency range of 57Hz-40kHz. Designed for listening in and around your living space, the X9 is the first High Resolution Audio portable speaker. Its rechargeable battery, Bluetooth and wired connectivity and High Resolution Audio capabilities are encased in an acoustically tuned aluminium housing.
H500M High Resolution Audio on-ear headphones
The Ø40mm optimized high power drivers provide detailed sound quality for High Resolution Audio playback across a frequency range of 7Hz-40kHz. The acoustically closed architecture limits ambient noise whilst the rigid aluminium housing prevents extraneous vibrations to ensure sound clarity. The headphones include an in-line remote with built-in microphone to control music playback and manage hands-free calls. The soft ear cushions provide an ergonomic fit.
E700M High Resolution Audio in-ear headphones
Precision Ø13.5mm high power drivers and oval sound tubes for High Resolution Audio playback across a frequency range of 6Hz-40KHz. The in-house developed drivers are holistically tuned as part of the complete acoustic system that includes a semi-closed acoustic architecture to limit ambient noise. An ergonomic design that disperses pressure in the ear. Includes both ultra-sound silicone tips and Comply™ Foam Tips and lightweight aluminium housing for comfort.
