Software update expected in another week or two
The software update for Apple TV, originally scheduled for release yesterday, has been delayed as Apple states the update "is not quite finished".
Apple estimates that the software update, which will allow users to rent movies via iTunes directly to their widescreen TVs, will become available to customers as part of a free download in another week or two.
In other Apple news, the incredibly cool yet incredibly pricey MacBook Air, dubbed "the world's thinnest notebook", has began shipping to customers in the U.S.
