Orange has been showing off LG's touchscreen watchphone - the GD910 - for the past few months, but we haven't been able to discern exactly when it'll become available, and how much it'll cost... until now.
The mobile operator has confirmed that the GD910 will first go on sale in the UK at its Bond Street Station shop on Thursday August 27th at 9am. According to Orange, the "limited time only" device will be available only on Orange Pay as You Go, and it'll be priced at £500.
There's no mention of stock levels, but Orange is warning that the device will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis, and that only one device will be sold to any one customer.
It's certainly a cool piece of gadgetry - and its features include a touchscreen interface, a built-in speaker, a Bluetooth headset and video-calling functionality - but will there be a great demand? We're not so sure, but if it does sell out, fear not as Orange will be making another "limited number" of GD910s available from its online shop in mid-September.
