Apple's iPad may have been getting all the loving recently, yet it appears that the venerable iPhone has possibly got one up on its new sibling, courtesy of a good old game of lost and found.

Setting the scene in a Redwood City, CA bar, with a shaken - but not stirred - camouflaged iPhone sounds predictably like something out of a James Bond movie, but it is rumoured that Apple's iPhone 4.0 has made its outing in this very manner.

A thorough strip-search of the device in question has led to some theories on what we can possibly expect the next iteration of the iPhone family to boast over its predecessors. Beyond the usual cosmetic improvements, such as metallic power, mute, and volume buttons - mixed with overall refinement of course- it is suggested that whilst Apple is subtly expanding its take on form, it certainly isn't forgetting all important function.

It was rather obvious that Apple would be readying its next iPhone iteration and if looks could kill, it sounds like the iPhone 4.0 might just have some Android powered offerings in its sights.

Way to shoot themselves in the foot too, to continue to support their proprietary connection and force their users to carry an adapter with them, negating most of the point in the agreement with other phone manufacturers

Android 2.5-3 more like :)
Forgot how many “Fake” 3GS started to appear on sites after the rumour mill had started grinding. Don't think they will change the design to be honest, they surprised everyone by leaving the 3GS alone and i think they will do the same with the 4G.
Its not a looker is it really? Boxy design … I'm a little surprised.

However waiting to see what they really pull out the hat with this one.

Android 2.5.3? Ohh need to have a look at that … *goes off to Bing*
