Rugby Challenge 2006
Rugby Challenge 2006 Hip Games and Swordfish Studios (developers of Jonah Lomu Rugby and World Championship Rugby) are mucking and getting dirty with a good grapple in the maul with Rugby Challenge 2006. Not content with just offering up a realistic simulation of the game, Swordfish have worked hard to include a wide choice of real teams and stadiums along with the new 2006 Rugby rules.
Utilizing a mixture of motion captured and hand animation to give as lifelike movement as possible, you’ll have to contend with what is claimed to be cutting edge AI as well as variable weather conditions in all the major competitions including the Heineken Cup, 6 Nations Tournaments, Zurich Premiership, Celtic League and French National League (Top 16).
And on top of that, RC ’06 offers up a career mode enabling players to manage, wheel and deal and play their way to the top in a variety of real life and fictional stadia including Murrayfield, Lansdowne Road, Twickenham and the Millennium Stadium.
Rugby Challenge 2006 is set for an Autumn 2006 release across a variety of formats.
