Epic Games' latest project has been revealed as Bulletstorm, a shooter that will see us tackling a variety of mutants under the guise of an elite soldier.

The game is due to be officially unveiled and announced later today, but a cover story on Game Informer magazine has let the cat out of bag early before Epic's design director Cliff Bleszinski has had a chance to reveal the first details on tonight's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show.

Early rumours suggest that some of the enemies in the game bear a striking resemblance to the Locusts in Gears of War. Incidentally, Cliffy B is also set to reveal the first official details on Gears of War 3 at some point today.
