Exclusive downloadable content is great if you own the game on that platform, but it's a real annoyance if you don't. Xbox 360 Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim owners are set to be the lucky ones this time around as Bethesda confirms DLC will be available exclusively for 30 days on Microsoft's console.

There's currently no details on release date or what will feature on the DLC, but Bethesda has confirmed it will be two content packs. The DLC is likely to be much more than just extra pieces of armour or weapons too. Bethesda’s Todd Howard says it plans on releasing "more substantial" DLC than previous games that have an "expansion pack feel."

Considering we put in over 100 hours before we even got to the DLC content for Oblivion, we're sure waiting 30 days won't kill most people.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due for release on November 11, 2011 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
