We would have put money on Crackdown topping the videogames charts this week, but they were up against some stiff opposition in the form of the latest in the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy XII. Crackdown became the fourth fastest selling Xbox 360 game this week, behind Gears Of War, Pro Evolution Soccer 6 and Call of Duty 3, but Square Enix's RPG has shot to the top of the charts following it's release last Friday and according to figures has taken more than half the weeks total Playstation 2 sales, selling 90,000 units.

This week's chart on all formats:

1) Final Fantasy XII
2) Crackdown
3) FIFA 07
4) Pro Evolution Soccer 6
5) Need for Speed Carbon
6) Sims 2 : Pets
7) Bad Boys II
8) The Sims 2
9) Sega Mega Drive Collection
10) New Super Mario Bros
