Silent Scope

Another classic game, Silent Scope was one of the most entertaining games in the arcades a few years back, and featured a sniper-scope attached to the cabinet for realism. This cannot be recreated for the first version of the game though: Silent Scope for GBA. I don't know HOW they've done it, but they have. This looks amazing. Just like Super Monkey Ball Jr, someone has really pulled out all the stops and pushed the GBA as far as it'll go. Essentially it's just an old-style shooting gallery game, but Silent Scope pushed the idea far with a genuine feel of urgency and anticipation. Let's see how well it PLAYS on a small screen :P

There's one other Silent Scope in the works: Silent Scope 3 is another PS2 sequel, which unfortunately does not use a full size sniper magnum either. Essentially more of the same, this follows on from the last 2 games with more terrorists to snipe, and more damage to cause. Unfortunately, both SS1 and 2 suffered from being over too quickly - a weakness based in their arcade roots.
