Completing A Build
Memory - G.Skill Trident Z RGB
RGB is everywhere, even computer memory. The best implementation to date is from G.Skill whose Trident Z RGB looks great, has great colour coverage, and works a treat on both Intel and AMD platforms. It's not cheap, granted, and requires specific motherboard support, but if you get past that, it's rather cool.
SSD - Crucial MX500 1TB
One can always look at super-fast SSDs running off NVMe and PCIe. Crucial, on the other hand, ushers in next-generation value with the MX500 1TB drive priced at £230. Perfect as secondary storage used to hold your Steam catalogue and other large files, we can recommend it to a wide range of readers.
Power Supply - Corsair HX1000
An update to a classic, Corsair offers excellent ripple suppression, above-average efficiency, decent noise and temperature, and a 10-year warranty. The HX1000 won't disappoint power users.
Chassis - be quiet! Dark Base 700
This is where we had the most debate. be quiet!'s Dark Base 700 won out because of its great looks, excellent build quality, front USB 3.1 G2 Type-C support, and integrated fan controller. Helps that it's a cinch to build into, too.
