With its latest product, the CEB-2235S, Chieftec has launched a highly efficient and optimal solution for backup and storage purposes. This high-end device allows the users to select up to 6 different modes containing of JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1, SAFE50 or SAFE33.
By enabling the usage of common 2.5“ and 3.5“ hard disks in the CEB-2235S, Chieftec lay great emphasis on user-friendliness and easy-to-use functions. For a tool-free installation of the hard disks, simply remove the upper part of the device by pressing the side buttons located in the middle section of the chassis. The front side of the CEB-2235S is equipped with five LEDs indicating the operation status whereas you can find the reset, eSATA, USB2.0 buttons as well as the power connector and on/off button on the opposite side. All above mentioned modes have their respective switches and can be selected in that area.
One pre-installed 60mm ball-bearing fan with extremely low noise guarantees sufficient and optimal cooling for the 2 hard disks drives. Additional and special-designed damping mats on the top and bottom of the device will prohibit heavy and unwanted vibrations.
