Taipei, Taiwan – May 25, 2018 – ADATA Technology, a leading manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules and NAND flash products, today announced that it will be showcasing its latest products at Computex 2018 Taipei (Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, 1F, booth I0608), one of the world’s leading global ICT and IoT tradeshows. Under the theme of “Innovating the Future,” ADATA is showing off the world’s first hybrid liquid-air cooled DDR4 RGB memory module as well as its latest enterprise-class New Generation Small Form Factor (NGSFF) SSD, PCIe U.2/AIC form factor SSD, and NV-DIMM. What’s more, a number of new mobile storage products will be on display, including the world’s first external hard drive with heat dissipation capabilities and a new high-speed 512GB memory card, as well as ADATA’s home robot.
Bringing Gaming Performance and Flair to the Next Level
Leading the pack for its XPG product range is the SPECTRIX D80 memory module, the world’s first RGB DDR4 memory with a hybrid liquid-air cooling system. It utilizes a combination of a liquid heatsink that is hermetically sealed with non-conductive fluid and an aluminum heatsink to deliver effective thermal cooling. The liquid heatsink is fully illuminated with RGB lighting to give it a dazzling flair that gamers and DIY enthusiasts will appreciate. Also, the SPECTRIX D41 DDR4 RGB memory module featuring speeds of over 4600MHz will be on hand. The memory module supports Intel® X299 and AMD AM4/Ryzen platforms and sports vivid RGB lighting that is fully programmable with the XPG RGB Sync app and a range of other lighting control software. Other XPG gaming products to be displayed will include keyboard, headset, mouse and mouse pad, as well as its next-generation STORM M.2 PCIe SSD and other high-performance SSDs.
Intelligent ADATA Home Robot
ADATA will be demonstrating its next generation cloud-connected, camera-equipped home robot at Computex 2018. Among its new features include a facial recognition system, marking the first time this type of technology has been integrated into a home robot. Beyond facial recognition, the robot is built with technologies and hardware to assist with home surveillance and early childhood development. Sporting a 360-degree camera, which can be remotely controlled via a dedicated app, users will be able to stay abreast of what is happening at home to give them peace of mind when away. With voice recognition technology, the home robot can assist with the language development of preschool-aged children by engaging them in conversation via fun speech exercises. To ensure fluid voice interactions, the home robot is equipped with a noise-canceling microphone to filter out ambient noise. Later this year ADATA will be unveiling a new home robot series that will support long-distance voice recognition for use in larger spaces as well as have the ability to control smart connected appliances.
Latest Solutions for Data Center & Server Applications
ADATA will be showcasing its latest industrial solutions at the show, including the SX8200 PCIe SSD, ADATA’s fastest SSD to date. It features an ultra-fast PCIe Gen3x4 interface and 3D NAND flash, offering sustained peak read/write speeds of 3200/1700MB per second. ADATA’s NGSFF SSD offers hot-swap capabilities beyond those of existing M.2 SSDs, a dual-port configuration, and power loss protection. Meanwhile the PCIe U.2/AIC form factor SSD provides large storage capacity of up to 11TB, 4K random performance of 1M IOPS, and employs user-configurable over-provisioning. NV-DIMMs are designed for critical applications for data centers and are a combination of DRAM and SSD which provide large capacity and power loss protection. Developed with ADATA’s proven R&D know-how in DRAM and SSD, its latest NV-DIMM server memory module can significantly improve computing efficiency, minimize the risk of data loss due to unexpected power failures, and last longer than competing solutions.
World’s First External HD with Heat Dissipation Capabilities and More
The HD830 external hard drive (HD) is the world’s first to have built-in heat dissipation capabilities. In addition to this unique feature, the external HD sports an IP68 rating that makes it water/dustproof and has a sturdy shock-resistant construction. Meanwhile the ADATA 512GB micro SD card with read/write speeds of up to 100/85 MB/s will also make an appearance. It meets Video Speed Class V30 and Application Performance Class 1 (A1) requirements to deliver speedy video transfers and fast mobile application performance. ADATA’s range of mobile accessories will also be at the booth, including its latest power banks, wireless charging pads, car chargers, and more.
