Press Release

The popular notebook now comes with integrated UMTS/HSUPA and improved ConfCamera

Bracknell, UK, September 21st, 2007 – Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Europe's leading IT manufacturer, has enhanced the performance of the LIFEBOOK P7230, one of its most popular notebook PCs. The LIFEBOOK P7230 has longer- lasting battery power and provides users with faster access to the Internet. The higher-performance is a result of the Intel Core Duo processor.

Weighing in at 1.25 kg, the LIFEBOOK P7230 is one of the lightest and smallest notebooks around. The use of a second battery and the standard EcoButton now increases the battery life to 11.5 hours. The EcoButton deactivates optical drives and reduces the brightness of the screen, improving energy efficiency.

Integrated WLAN and Bluetooth in the LIFEBOOK P7230 as well as UMTS/HSUPA provide users with remote access to the Internet. The notebook also provides the ideal system for video conferencing. In addition to the integrated conference camera, the LIFEBOOK P7230 has a 10.6 inch widescreen and the latest LED background lighting.

The LIFEBOOK P7230 is priced at around £1299 (ex VAT).
