PRESS RELEASE

XQ power supplies offer best technology and design

Hanover, March 14th 2012 - XILENCE, the global manufacturer of PC cooling solutions and power supply units, convinced visitors of CeBIT 2012 with its latest range of XQ power supply units and Interceptor chassis.

The latest power supply series Xilence XQ uses the innovative Direct Airflow technology, which offers controlled airflow and effective cooling by using two 60mm fans and a special PCB layout. The five models that were presented (1000 and 850 Watt with Platinum certification, 750, 650 and 550 Watt with Gold certification) caught the interest of visitors and customers. "The semi-passive cooling up to a load of 20%, new design, high manufacturing standards due to fully mechanical fabrication and direct soldering of connector PCB and main PCB convinced users", explained Bastian Fröhlig, PR-Manager at Xilence. The new PSUs are expected to be released for sale early in the second quarter 2012.

The fully configured demo system - based on the Xilence Interceptor chassis - was a real eye-catcher. "It was the biggest, most impressive and most photographed chassis of the whole exhibition", analysed Bastian Fröhlig. The chassis are equipped with multiple ducts for cable and water cooling installation. The Interceptor Pro offers space to integrate a second system or a water cooling solution within one chassis.

The demo system is currently being raffled at http://www.facebook.com/Xilence (deadline for entries: Thursday, March 15, 2012).
