Entry-level CM Storm

As with its HAF series, Cooler Master is also offering a trimmed-down alternative in its gamer-orientated CM Storm range. On show at CeBIT '09, the CM Storm Scout slots in below the existing CM Storm Sniper and offers LAN-party goers a more affordable entry into the security-conscious range.

Despite its weight when filled with high-end innards, the CM Storm Scout provides a carrying-handle for relatively easy transportation to your next gaming session, and its all-black interior provides a touch of style, too.

Measuring 489mm x 216mm x 495mm, it features five 5.25in drive bays, five 3.5in hard disk bays, and Cooler Master's StormGuard security system. Providing airflow are 140mm fans at the front and up top, and a 120mm rear exhaust.

No word on pricing yet, but as the entry-level CM Storm offering, we're certain it'll arrive for less than £100.

Still too pricey? There are cheaper alternatives...
