UK availability

We've already taken a look at availability and pricing of AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5770, and we've found the card to be readily available - with keen pricing for those in the market.

But what about the one that often gets overlooked, the '50? In our in-depth review, we concluded that AMD and its partners really need to push ATI Radeon HD 5750 pricing to below the £100 mark if it's to make a whole lot of sense.

Here we are on launch day, so let's take a look at what you can expect from a handful of big-name retailers.

Please note that pricing is correct as of 10:45am, Tuesday October 13.

As with the ATI Radeon HD 5770, availability of the 5750 is widespread. Picking one up in the hours after launch isn't a problem.

Ebuyer, once again, stands out with notably keen pricing. The Howden, UK-based retailer is currently taking pre-orders for Sapphire's card for under £93. The cheapest in-stock card is the XFX Radeon HD 5750, available from Ebuyer today priced at £107.97.

With Ebuyer listing quicker Radeon HD 5770 GPUs for under £115, launch-day 5750 pricing at competing retailers just doesn't look competitive.
