James Sherwood of The Register reports:
Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC) has expanded its Amilo PC range with a netbook addition.
The Amilo Mini measures just 123 x 118mm and is based on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, with the machine running on Windows XP Home edition.
What really sets the machine aside from other netbook rivals, such as Lenovo’s S9 and S10, is that FSC’s model boasts interchangeable covers. It comes with one dark red clip-on cover, but more can be bought separately, including a transparent one that lets you slip a picture inside.
FSC’s not willing to provide any further details about the Mini just yet, because it’s keeping all the juicy features a secret until IFA, which kicks off in Berlin later this month.
However, the firm has said that the machine will be available to purchase this autumn for around £300 (€450/$600).
