Apple MacBook upgrades imminent?

Seems Vietnam is the place to be for all the latest Apple news. Following last week's tear-down of the next-generation iPhone, Vietnamese website Tinhte.com is now openly showing off a yet-to-be-announced Apple MacBook.

The upgraded model, pictured below, might look identical to the polycarbonate unibody system launched last October, but the key differences lie within.

Identified as model number MacBook 7.1 - up from last year's 6.1 - the leaked machine features a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics, putting it in line with an entry-level MacBook Pro.

A useful bump up from the current 2.26GHz processor and GeForce 9400M graphics, but there's no way of knowing if Apple will stick to the existing £816 price point.

Wish they'd release a 12.1 MBP

I have a 13.3“ MBP and the screen + bezel is too big to be an ultraportable
(i.e. fit in briefcase) compared with previous 12.1” laptops I've had.

But I suppose that is the netbook market …
