You can always rely on Eurocom to adopt the latest greatest mobile technology, so it's no surprise to find that the outfit's mobile workstation - the D900F Panther - is already available with NVIDIA's new GeForce GTX 480M.

Pricing for a build equipped with said GPU starts from £2,451, but go crazy with CPU and storage upgrades and the sky's the limit.

If a single GTX 480M isn't quite tickling your fancy, what you'll want is the Panther 2.0.

The "coming soon" notebook, pictured left, will combine two GeForce GTX 480M GPUs in SLI configuration - or dual Radeon HD Mobility HD 5870s if you prefer - and then couple that graphics power with a choice of high-end hexa-core Intel processors, up to 24GB of memory and up to 4TB of storage capacity.

There's no mention of pricing, but we know Panther 2.0 will be launching in late August. Eurocom reckons its ideal for the on-the-go digital content creator types, and though that may be true, we reckon you'll need to keep close to a mains power supply.

Hit the product page at Eurocom.com for detailed specifications.

I read somewhere that the gtx480m has a tdp of 100 watts. Anyone fancy SLI on a laptop with a 250 watt psu and a battery life of seconds?
