Getting away from the iPad mania for a moment, Gigabyte showcased a tablet notebook that piqued our interest.

The M1125N packs in some juicy specs, including the newly-announced Core i5 ULV (Calpella) chip, 11.6in (1,366x768) multi-touch screen; Intel HD Graphics and NVIDIA's GeForce 310M (complete with Optimus Technology); chiclet keyboard; 500GB spindle-based hard drive; 3.5G connectivity, and USB 3.0 support.

Equipped with HDMI, VGA, and eSATA, further connectivity can be added via an optional docking station that includes an optical drive. No word on pricing or availability as yet, however.
