Enermax told us it'd be bringing out its PSU big guns at this year's CeBIT, and the early signs suggest that it won't disappoint.
Browsing the show floor a day before the doors officially open, we stumbled upon this; the EXX 900.
Positioned as the centrepiece to Enermax's surprisingly-large booth, the EXX 900 is the manufacturer's first power supply to be accredited with 80 PLUS Platinum certification.
According to the PSU's test data, the 900W prototype scores a whopping 91.07 per cent efficiency under light load, 92.51 per cent efficiency under typical load and an equally-impressive 90.12 per cent under full load.
Not a lot else is known right now - and Enermax wouldn't spill the beans until tomorrow - but we did get the most important (and most disappointing) detail; the EXX 900 most likely won't appear at retail until 2012. That'll provide plenty of shelf life for the MaxRevo, mind you.
