The 570 comes in two finishes - black or silver - and it's the silver variant that we're putting under the HEXUS-scope today. At 9.5kg, the 570 is light considering its ample bulk but it's an all-aluminium design, so that's not too surprising.

It has a brushed finish where it counts and the front has diamond-cut edges.

At 205(w) x 522(h) x 570(d) mm, the Gigabyte case is around the same size as comparably-price competitors - and if you look closely at those dimensions, you'll see how the 570 got its name.

The front door is held closed by magnets behind the plastic front that it covers. The good news here is that there is also a lock available should you need to keep out curious minds.

The shape of the door is such that it will shut even if the drive bays are fitted with devices having protruding knobs and switches.

Down below is the filtered front air-intake for a fitted 120mm fan.
