Performance

We tested with our liquid cooler fitted beneath Fractal's ventilated top cover, and our AMD Ryzen 7 CPU feels right at home.

A chassis with a solid front panel can sometimes struggle with GPU cooling performance, yet the Define 7 does seem to be getting a decent amount of clean air from the slots either side of the door; our Radeon graphics card isn't getting overly hot.

Noise levels range from practically silent at idle to audible when gaming. Replacing the vented top cover with the default, sound-dampened panel would no doubt reduce noise output, albeit at the expense of cooling performance. Either way, with nine fan mounts, an integrated fan hub and plenty of flexibility, we don't imagine users will have much difficulty finding a sweet spot for their setup.
