What is it?

Here it is....

They also include 5.25" device clamps which allow you to mount a CDRom drive using only two thumbscrews which again is pretty nifty. The case itself is quite wide and tall thus allowing easy access to all components, here's a side on view, note at the tidiness of my cables :o)

The Enermax EG451P 431W ATX PSU

Output specification :-
  • +3.3V = 35Amps
  • +5.0v = 44Amps
  • +12.0v = 15Amps
  • -12V = 1.0Amps
  • -5V =2.0Amps
  • +5VSb = 1.8Amps
This is one hell of an output and for those with a packed out case this is a must, Note the high amperage of the +3.3v rail, this will make sure that your motherboard and CPU will get the power they need and very stable at that. The unit has two 80mm fans, one of which has a separate cable to plug onto one of your motherboard fan connectors to enable fan speed monitoring which is very useful. Another good feature is that there are no less than seven power connectors.

Extreme XS Cooling System

This is the first case modification I have seen and I must say that it has been done very professionally. They have mounted 2 YS-TECH FD1225 120mm fans taking in air on the left hand side cover and 2 x YS-TECH FD1225 120mm fans blowing air out on the top cover. There are chrome grills covering the fans (to stop you getting your fingers chopped off!!) and the fans have male and female 4-Pin connectors on them. I plugged the fans together so only needing 1 connector from the power supply for each pair of fans. There are also 2 x YS-TECH FD8125 80mm fans, one at the front taking in air and one mounted on the rear panel extracting air, this amounts to a huge 514CFM of air flow. It took me about an hour to install the system and connect everything up and I would advise the use of cable ties here, it really helps to keep the cables tidy, this also increases air flow and stops any noises you can get when the flow of air is restricted. One thing that's has been on my mind whilst setting it up was how loud are these fans going to be..... I will have to say is that yes it is quite loud but more of an air flowing noise rather the droning sound you can get with just 2 80mm case fans that have a restricted flow of air due to case housings etc. Right then lets see how cool my system is running....
