Up front and personal

First impressions are the 900 could well be the ‘bastard son’ of a set square. With harsh, acute lines, this is certainly different from the usual Antec flair.

The futuristic shape is a mix of plastic and steel, both black-coloured on the outside, with the latter featuring a grey finish inside.

It’s a mid-tower design, with compact dimensions of 493mm (L) x 206mm (W) and 468mm (H), which tips the scales at a little over 14kg straight out of the box.

Up front the 900 features a total of nine available bays, six of which you can clearly see are fronted by 120mm blue-LED fans. The bays are actually 2 modular devices allowing up to six 3.5” devices to be mounted.

The other three bays at the front of the 900 are standard 5.25” affairs for the usual optical drives, but the 900 does ship with an adapter tray and front plate allowing you to fit a single 3.5” externally-accessible device should you wish to.
