Inside the belly of the beast

With Antec situating the PSU bottom of the chassis, the company has stuck to its previously successful formula. The PSU is secured in place with the usual four screws but it does sit on 4 silicone pads and is held down from above by a simple steel plate.

You’ll notice in the above picture that the side panels on the 900 are, like the window, recessed into the chassis. They are very easy to put on and take off, and Antec's system is one of the simplest and yet most effective panel-securing methods we have seen recently.

Moving forward, the inside has the two modules we spoke of earlier, the upper features a plastic mount for a fourth 120mm fan, although the more recent graphics cards (GeForce 8800 GTX, for example) will struggle to fit with this in place. Swapping the modular bays will help, but you are likely to lose at least one HDD if using a card based on a large PCB.
