By the way, the reason for not including the reference Intel cooler lies with the fact that there are a few different types, and the one shipping with a Core 2 Extreme isn't the same as most PIB coolers. As such, HSFs for mid-range quad-core CPUs are different and may not be able to cool the hot-running QX6850.
