Presentation, Bundle and Manual
The 3D Cooler is packaged in plastic, with a card backing describing the big selling points of the cooler, which we'll look at later.
Looking at the bundle, we find a comprehensive package. Aside from the cooler itself, we find a manual, a small tube of Shin Etsu thermal paste (Which is good stuff in my experience, so a welcome addition to the bundle), a power splitter from a single Molex connector to a Molex and floppy connector (The cooler requires such a connection to the PSU), both a front mounted 3.5" and rear backplate fan controller, and the appropriate retention clips for the three CPU types supported by the cooler - Namely the Pentium 4 and AMDs K7 and K8 designs.
Looking at the front panel fan controller, we find the usual dial to control fan speed, which is nicely marked with the different RPMs across the arc of the dial.
The manual is a pretty comprehensive affair, which gives clear installation instructions that make fitting the cooler a cinch. The only downside is that the physical size of the manual is rather small, and as a result so is the text - So make sure your reading glasses are at the ready!
Now lets focus our attention on the 3D Cooler itself.
