CPU Tests

Core i9-10850K slots neatly into second place. Per Intel's specifications, it manages to hit 5.2GHz under TVB in this light-load test.

The Cinebench single-thread score is also predictable. Looking at the logs of the two respective Intel processors, the 10900K averages 5.24GHz throughout this test while the 10850K clocks in at 5.11GHz.

Sharing the same 10C20T topology as 10900K leads to near-identical results in the all-core benchmark. The MSI motherboard keeps the chip at an all-core 4.8GHz most of the time.

Just how the chip handles all-core speeds is dependent on application. Using the same underlying components, Core i9-10900K is a few seconds quicker. 404s is hardly slow, of course, but for those that can use all-core muscle for their rendering work, AMD's price-comparable Ryzen 9 3900XT is a minute faster.
