The four physical cores of the Intel i5-4670 chip are much more powerful for video encoding. Our build of Handbrake, latest as it is, also takes advantage of the AMD chip's FMA3/4 feature set. There's no getting past those four physical cores from Intel.

Taking both the CPU and GPU into account in this OpenCL test, the A10-7850K still has to play second fiddle to the Core i5-4670.

Yet OpenCL implementation varies from one benchmark to another. The faster GPU in the A10-7850K finally stretches its muscles in Musemage.
