Benchmarks: Power Consumption

All systems are benchmarked using a Corsair AX760i power supply. The figure describes the at-wall load. Used for 40 hours a week the systems pull about 20p of electricity.

You have to take the each manufacturer's TDP with a pinch of salt - AMD chips tend to be more wattage-hungry than Intel's.

What's surprising here is that the A10-7850K, classified with a 95W TDP, draws only a little more power than the A8-7600 (65W). We can also infer that a 300W PSU is plenty powerful enough to run an APU system, even one with Dual Graphics.
